The Awakening of Emory series by Jay L. North
This short serial is gem! And by gem, I mean it’s delicious, filthy, and excessively graphic smut. Or, to use a fancier word, erotica. These short books, which together equals the standard length of one novel, follows Emory during his sexual awakening, and exploration of submission. Synopsis: The story begins with Emory being ditched by his girlfriend when they were meant to spend the weekend at her dad’s cabin in the woods. So he suddenly finds himself alone with a very sexy, older man. This starts off a carnal relationship between the two where Jackson, the gf’s dad, guides Emory during his exploration of submission-kink. Now, the plot in this…

Bad Blood by L.C. Davis (Joel Abernathy)
As soon as I finished Bad Blood, I bought the next two books in the series and devoured them too. So my review might actually reflect my impression of the series and not the first book exclusively. Anyway, I think it says a great deal about how engaging these books are. It’s all yummy intrigue and hot sexytimes (MMM+). Dark secrets and paranormal societies. Vampire diaries meets Days of Our Lives only in a more adult version. Nothing is black and white, and a friend from yesterday may be an enemy tomorrow, or vice versa. Enemies with benefits couldn’t be a truer description. Synopsis: Chase is a snarky and fabulous…

The Alpha’s Warlock (Mismatched Mates #1) by Eliot Grayson
Fast paced entertainment, reluctant bonding/mating, and altogether juicy. I think that sums up The Alpha’s Warlock pretty well. Synopsis: Nate‘s a warlock in trouble. He’s managed to get himself kidnapped by werewolves and forcibly, halfway bonded to one of their Alphas as a means to steal his magic. Narrowly escaping, he stumbles over to the neighbouring werewolf pack seeking help before the unfinished bond kills him. Big, grumpy Ian, the Armitage pack’s enforcer steps in to save Nate by the only way they know how – by completing the mating. But Nate’s kidnapping is just a part of a larger plot. A plot that threatens not only Nate’s life but the lives…

The Alien’s Kidnapped Omega (The Alien’s Omega #1) by Sienna Sway
This might not be a five-star, but it was awesome none the less. It was exactly what I needed right now. Fast-paced, kind of short, and a romance that wasn’t entirely as predictable as it could have been. Sure, it was only low to medium on the steam scale, but with the generally juicy storyline, the spice was enough. I just love the I’m-an-omega-but-didn’t-know-it-trope. And combined with an abduction and a forced (but not quite unwanted) bonding to a big hunk of an alien… Well. It hit all my spots. Synopsis: Alex, the human omega, is tasked to establish contact with the dominant alien race of the planet Mukhana. But on his first…

Lord Garrington’s Vessel by S. Rodman
This is one juicy read! It’s the MM equivalent of an old fashioned bodice ripper, and it’s delightfully clichéd and smutty. I loved it! It’s a story set in an alternate reality. It’s 2022, but there’s a secret world of magic embedded in our regular, “mundane”, society. Fen has been raised in boarding schools with no actual contact with his noble family, the Garringtons. He knows nothing of magic and is totally unprepared when his brother Xander snatches him back to the Garrington estate to be auctioned off in an arranged marriage. But Fen is beautiful, and the attraction between him and Xander is intense. When Xander, who is a…

Endangered Species (Time Served #1) by Onley James
This read is the very definition of juicy smut, the kind you really don’t want to read in public. In another word: Awesome! Synopsis: Nicholas Webster leads a good life. He’s left his abusive childhood behind and is a computer wiz at a security firm. That is, until he’s falsely accused of terrorism and incarcerated in a maximum security prison. The same prison where his step-brother, Cyrus, is serving 25 years for a murder he didn’t commit – because Nicky’s testimony put him there. Nicky thinks he’s a dead man. But, as it turns out, Cy isn’t the one Nicky should fear the most. Someone wants Nicky dead, the sooner…
